Elena Todorova – certified dog behaviourist and trainer

I am Elena, a dog behaviourist, and animal lover. Growing up, I always had a connection with animals, specifically the canine variety. It didn’t occur to me until much later in life that I could turn this passion into a career. I worked in Law Enforcement and then Security for many years but a few years ago a small, scruffy pup called Ty came into my life and turned it upside down, inspiring me to retrain as a dog trainer and behaviourist. That is how my journey began.

My deep desire to understand my own pup’s needs and be a better companion for him, has since evolved into a passion to assist fellow dog owners in forging profound connections with their beloved pets, and ultimately enhancing their quality of life. Fast forward a few years, I am now a qualified dog behaviourist! No matter the issues you and your pet are facing, know that you are not alone, and with some professional help you can restore the joy in the relationship with your dog.

With my dedication to positive reinforcement and reward-based training methods, I am committed to sharing my expertise with you and make the world a kinder place for dogs. Even if you have previously employed alternative approaches that you believe to be effective, I am more than happy to work with you and your dog, and demonstrate the transformative power of positive reinforcement in building a positive and trusting bond.

I aim to regularly post useful information and training tips on my website and social media, covering topics such as dog body language, enrichment, busting myths and more. If you find value in my complimentary advice, I warmly welcome contributions to my fundraising pages. Every donation goes directly towards supporting The Red Foundation Dachshund Rescue or The Greenwich Wildlife Network – causes that hold a special place in my heart.
